The headlining has been re-covered. Electric windows and sunroof work. There's a bit of lifting of the dashboard above the instruments, but they all do that and I've seen them a lot worse. The air conditioning does not work, and the CD changer won't speak to the headunit. I had a brand new remote fob coded in last year. A comprehensive mechanical overhaul during my ownership includes a near total rebuild of the power steering system inc. pump, front disks and pads, inlet manifold gaskets and injector seals, timing belt, and four Vredestein QuadTrac tyres with less than 2000 miles on them. On top of this, general servicing and oil changes, and a replacement header tank for the cooling system.

This is a car that looks good from ten paces, but close up all panels are marked, some are dented, and the paintwork is faded on the bonnet. There's a bit of rust to the o/ s/ f wing, bottom of n/ s/ f door, and o/ s/ r arch, but these look like they would go for a few more years yet before getting sorted. It's still a presentable car - as you can see in the photos. You wouldn't be ashamed to be seen in it, and I've even taken it to a few car shows. You also needn't worry about it getting damaged in the supermarket car park!

The car is notable for being quite a late registration on a 'W' plate, if not a particularly late-built car (one of the last 4, 000 built). It is an ideal car if you're looking for a comfortable and unusual older car to use every day. A solid example, ready for every day use.
